Hi, dear friends, Nokia currently is testing an indoor positioning structure at the Kamppi Shopping place/Center in Helsinki that allows users triangulate their position as of a series of WiFi system of transmitters in their Nokia S60 mobile phones.

The phone runs an app which allows users to identify their location over a map of the shopping center, send SMS messages to their location to fellow customers, and find the shortest path to the Orange Julius or else its Finnish counterpart.

Certainly this isn’t the unique we’ve seen a company trying to make GPS-like positioning feasible indoors, but it can be the first that’s specifically designed to enable your purchase mania.

We’ll be keeping a watch over for further improvements in the meantime, see the video clip after the break.
