Finally some photos of top secret mobile handset that was also known as the Nokia Tube, the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic has been brought to our eyes by Czech mobile website. Although official release is not expected until October 2nd 2008, the list of features are ready to be explained.

First of all the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic has many first timers. It is the first time a mobile handset uses touchscreen on S60 Symbian operating system and this operating system is also the newest edition which is Symbian S60 Taco 5.0. However still with its huge 3.2″ touchscreen and widescreen resolution of 640 x 360 pixels, Nokia 5800 is not considered as a high-end mobile handset. Its price and features are in upper midrange. For example it has only 3.2 camera with autofocus and its video can capture up to 30fps at VGA resolution.

Considering the communication features, the Nokia 5800 has quad-band support and EDGE and HSDPA support which allows us to call it a 3G handset. Also it has compact dimensions of 111 x 52 x 15.5mm and 109 grams of weight. Other features of the handset include TV-out, 3.5mm standard audio jack, GPS, microSD card slot of memory expandable up to 16GB with 8GB card included in selling package. Still we expect more features with official announcement of the handset.

As for the release date of the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic, it is not possible to give any information but its official announcement is told to be on October 2nd. However we have the preview photos online. Finally the price tag is expected to be around 400 euros for the device.
