Today we had a great news about the newest star of the N Series, the Nokia N97. Now the release date of this touchscreen S60 based QWERTY phone is certain and it is even on pre-order in one of the online retailers.

According to Play.com, the Nokia N97 is ready for pre-order and it will start shipping in UK starting March 31^st. Another great part of the news is the price tag of the handset. This high end phone is tagged at 480 GBP which is about 540 euro or 720 USD which is way lower than the prices that were mentioned before. Previously it was told that the price would be around 550 euros before taxes. There can be an effect of global crisis as well but still Nokia and N series fans could enjoy this part of the news as well.
