As you may have noticed long ago, we are proud to present Featurific plugin in our website. You can see the Featurific interface for the last couple of days on the main page of our website. Hope you all liked our new face, and one more further step to a Professional website. I should thank Rich Christiansen for this beautiful plugin.

Rich Christiansen, creator of the Featurific plugin, asked kindly from met o write about a tutorial about this plugin for the users of the plugin. First of all I should add that I am not a programmer or something like that, so everyone can perform this tutorial as they wish to. In this tutorial, I will try to explain some of the modifications of the Skinny (Title Only) template, as far as I could figure out, you can perform on this easy to install and use plugin with simple steps. For any other documentation about the plugin, you can visit the plugin website at featurific.com and learn more. Here is the website of the plugin.

I am using Skinny (Title only) template of Featurific in one of my Turkish websites (Ek Gelir Sitesi), so I had to change the “read only” part on the down right with its Turkish meaning. Here are the steps:

1. Open wp-content/plugins / featurific-for-wordpress / templates / Skinny (Title Only)/template.xml
2. Find

<line fontsize=”12″ fontstyle=”bold” fontcolor=”%read_more_color%” text=”Read More“/>

</text>

<default name=”title_color” value=”white”/>

<default name=”read_more_color” value=”white”/>

3. Change ” text=”Read More” ” part with any text you like.

Also in the same template if change wp-content/plugins / featurific-for-wordpress / templates / Skinny (Title Only)/image1.jpg with any image that fits to your blog’s theme than the background in the Skinny template would change accordingly.
