In the latest Singapore Telecommunications Exhibition, Samsung showcased three new phones, one of which we mentioned before the Samsung L870, others are the Samsung J800 Luxe and the Samsung L700. We tried to put together the list of features of these three new mobile handsets of Samsung for you.

Samsung J800 Luxe

We should say that the name Luxe has nothing to do with luxury, it is only a middle range slider. List of the features are below:

-Dimensions: 15mm thickness
-2.2″ 256K TFT display with 176×220 pixels resolution
-Music and video player
-FM radio with RDS
-Stereo Bluetooth with A2DP
-18MB internal memory and microSD card slot
-Built-in office document viewer, RSS reader, Mobile Tracker and POP3/IMAP4 mail client
-2 megapixel camera with photo blog function that allow direct image transfer to blogs.

However price and release date information for the Samsung J800 Luxe is still missing.

Samsung L700

The Samsung L700 was the second handset of the showcase in Singapore. It has monoblock form factor and relatively thinner when compared to Luxe. Features of this middle class phone is also listed below:

-12.8 mm at waistline
-Quad-band that offers UMTS support.
-2.1″ 256K TFT display with only 128×160 pixels resolution.
-2 megapixel camera without autofocus.
-Music and video player
-FM radio with RDS
-Stereo Bluetooth
-Internal built-in 30MB memory that can be expanded with microSD card.
-Built-in HTML browser, office document viewer and POP3/IMAP4 email client
-Color options include silver, pink and gold variations.

For the Samsung L700, there isn’t any price information and release date announced yet.

The Samsung L870

As you may remember, this new mobile handset was announced at the end of May and it had similar look to Soul lineup. However it is certain that it is not part of the Soul family. Still it is best of the three handsets in the exhibition. Below you may refresh your memories with the features of the Samsung L870 listed:

-Symbian OS
-13.5mm thickness
-2.4″ 16M color TFT display with QVGA resolution
-3 megapixel autofocus camera
-Tri-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE support plus HSDPA 3.6Mbps for fast wireless data transfers
-Lacks Wi-Fi functionality (only downside of the features)
-USB connectivity
-Bluetooth
-FM radio
-100MB expandable internal memory with microSD up to 4GB

Although we also don’t know the price information of Samsung L870, it is known that release date is the August 2008 in Europe, so expect to see this handset in markets soon.
