In 2009 Samsung seems that it will improve its 8 megapixel portfolio. Although it is not officially announced, the Samsung S8300 has leaked to internet just a few hours ago and candidate for the first quarter of 2009.

Compactness of the S8300 is the specialty of the handset with a 12.8 mm thickness and widescreen OLED display, maybe the largest of all times. Further than this, this wide display will be a touchscreen one.

As we mention before 8 megapixelw with autofocus but unfortunately without a xenon flash are among the other features with HSDPA, DivX video support and GPS receiver. From the photos available, it can be said that the handset will be a TouchWiz interfaced rather than being a smartphone. Another multimedia features on board are FM radio with RDS, microSD card slot and Bluetooth 2.1. Another disappointment would be lack of Wi-Fi feature.

Since this information is not official and subject to change and disappear at any time there is not certain information about the release date and price of the Samsung S8300, but it is mentioned that it will be around by March 2009.
